Healing is not about becoming someone new, but returning to who you’ve always been underneath the survival.

Biography

Hello, my name is Katrina. I am a Black therapist with a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Southern California. I provide affirming, trauma-informed care to children, adolescents, and families from diverse backgrounds. I specialize in supporting young people navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, identity development, behavioral challenges, and life transitions. My approach is strengths-based, relational, and child-centered, focusing on helping clients build emotional awareness, coping skills, and confidence in a safe and supportive environment. I integrate mindfulness, play-based interventions, and body-centered strategies to help children express and understand their emotions in developmentally appropriate ways.
