Care for ages 18–25

Care for who you are right now.

Therapy and psychiatry for young adults — whatever your life looks like, whatever you're carrying, whatever's next.

You don't have to fit a picture

There's a version of "young adult" the world likes to talk about.

College. Moving out. Figuring out a career. That's some young adults. It's not all of you.
Some of you are in school.
Some of you are aging out of foster care.
Some of you aren't.
Some of you still live at home — and that's the plan.
Working since you were 16.
Some of you are doing fine on the outside.
Some of you are raising your siblings, your kids, or yourself.
And not on the inside.
Wherever you are, this page is
for you.
So is our care.
What we help with

A real list. Pick what fits.

…and whatever you don't have a word for yet.
How therapy works at this age

You set the goals. In your own words.

45–50

Minutes per session

Real conversations. Real skill-building. Not rushed.
You.

Your teen is the patient

You set the goals — in your own words. Not your parent's. Not your boss's.

Real, named approaches

Plain-English tools. We tell you what we're using and why
This week

Practical tools

Things you can use this week. Not in a year. Not in theory.
Okay.

Not sure yet?

If you don't know what you need yet, that's okay. We figure it out together.
Therapy when you've never done it before

Maybe nobody in your life talked about this stuff.

Maybe you've been told to just push through. Maybe you've been the strong one for so long you don't know what it feels like to put something down.
Here's what to know.
01

You don't need to have it figured out

Not before you start. That's the whole point of starting.
02

You don't need a diagnosis

You don't need a crisis either. You just need to want something tofeel different.
03

It's not weird to feel weird about it

Most people do at first. It gets easier — usually fast.
04

You can stop, switch, or change direction

Anytime. This is your call.
Your care is yours

You're 18 or older. Your care belongs to you.

We don't talk to anyone else about you without your permission. Not even if they're paying. Not even if they call us. Not even if they ask nicely.
Some young adults want their family or support people involved. Some don't. Some land somewhere in between. We follow your lead.
Family
session
Want one? We can do that.
Status update
Want us to update someone on something specific? We can do that.
Silence
Want us to never mention you exist to anyone? We can do that, too.
What about psychiatry?

You're in charge.

A lot of mental health conditions show up — or get clearer — in your late teens and early 20s. Sometimes medication helps. Sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes you don't need it. Sometimes you do.
Our psychiatrists take time to explain options. We treat you as an adult making a real choice about your own life. We start low, go slow, and adjust as we learn what's working.

If you're aging out of foster care

A lot — sometimes all at once. Sometimes piece by piece.

We work with young adults who are aging out, recently aged out, or somewhere in between. You don't have to have your situation figured out to start. We meet you where you are.
Coordinate with your caseworker if you want — and not if you don't.
Help with paperwork around Medicaid, insurance, or coverage gaps.
Connect with other services you may be working with.
Work with you whether you're in stable, transitional, or in-between housing.
Stick with you when other things change.
When life is in motion

Care should work with life. Not against it.

A lot is changing right now. Schedules, addresses, jobs, who you live with, what your week looks like. Here's how we keep up.
Evenings & weekends
Real appointment times. Not just lunch-hour-only.
Online sessions
From home. From your dorm. From your car. You don't have to be in one place.
Moves stay with you
If you move within our 5 states, your care moves with you. Same clinician. Same plan.
If you move out of state
We'll help you find someone good before we let you go.
Insurance changes? Tell us
We'll figure it out. We accept Medicaid and are in network with major plans.
Can't pay? Tell us
We won't drop you for a missed bill. We'll work with you.
A note on family

Whatever family means for you.

We work with you on what your relationships actually are — not what they're supposed to be.

All of those are real.
For when things feel really hard

If you're thinking about hurting yourself, or anyone else — please don't wait.
