Amala is a Licensed Master Social Worker based in Baltimore, Maryland, with a Master of Social Work from Morgan State University, specializing in public health. She practices across inpatient and outpatient settings, where she facilitates therapy and psychoeducation groups. Her professional interests span health equity, community health,  and social services leadership. Rooted in a commitment to underserved communities, her graduate research focused on maternal mortality and health disparities within the Black community.
